  • Part 1 & 2  include class attendance of 12 BKP (basic kinesiology principles) units: theory, class and home practice, assessments, exams.
  • Part 3  (additional requirements) includes Anatomy and Physiology home-study unit, mentored sessions and off campus preparation

General Information

·       ICPKP Part 1 & 2 consists of 12 units:
     ICPKP Part 1 (6 units) & ICPKP Part 2 (6 units)


·       The student may take the first unit BKP 101, or the first few basic units separately as a short kinesiology course and may choose to continue with the advanced BKP units later.


·         BKP gives a solid foundation in the principles of Professional Kinesiology Practice and is the first step towards an internationally recognized certificates and diplomas in kinesiology. See below information about further study and qualification.

ICPKP Part 3 is classwork, home study and off campus preparation. The student may complete much of the Part 3 study during their first year of training.  Most students complete the Part 3 within 1-3 months after completing BKP, while preparing for their final BKP oral exam.

Regular assessments, online tests and teacher monitoring are essential parts for the successful student's preparation.

·         Enrollment form will be emailed upon enquiry. A payment confirmation of a deposit must accompany the signed enrollment form in order for registration to take place.

·        The maximum number of students for each program is 10.


3 options for ICPKP level 1 will be available in 2020

I. Morning course (begins in February 2020)

At one morning per week – 3 mornings per each unit for 12 units

II. Weekend course (begins in March 2020)

At one weekend a month – Sat & Sun (2-full days) per each unit for 12 units.

III. Intensive course (begins in May 2020)

Three parts (in May, September and November 2020) at two consecutive long weekends per month.
This course is suitable for those who live far: in another city or in another country.

Payment options for ICPKP part 1 & 2 in 2020


1/ Regular payment plan with monthly instalments.

  • R9000 is payable before the first class begins
  • R9000 is payable in before the beginning of unit 5 (BKP105)
  • R9000 is payable in before the beginning of unit 7 (BKP107)

The total amount payable is R27 000.


2/ Discounted full payment plan: when paid on enrolment and before the beginning of the course.

The total discounted fee is R24 300.

3/ Pay-per-unit payment plan:  R2500 x 12 = R30 000 payable before each unit begins.

The total non-discounted fee is R30 000.

An International Certificate in Professional Kinesiology Practice will be issued after PKP Part 1, 2 & 3  are completed.
After attending all classes of Part 1 & 2, usually it takes a few more months of home study, preparation and practice in order to complete Part 3 (additional requirements).

ICPKP includes:

 ·         ICPKP Part 3 Additional requirements - home-study and off campus preparation.

- Anatomy & Physiology 1 (the icpkp home study course, or other course recognized by icpkp);
- First Aid Level 1 course approved by icpkp (off campus);
- Mentored practice & experience: supervised student clinic experience - 50 hours;
- Clinical Practice client sessions, mentored - 75 hours (off campus);
- Personal Kinesiology Sessions by icpkp diploma graduate - minimum 5

Certification: International Certificate of Professional Kinesiology Practice issued by ICPKP *

Qualification: Certificated Kinesiologist

 2. International Diploma in Professional Kinesiology Practice

IDPKP includes:

·         International Certificate in Professional Kinesiology Practice (ICPKP parts 1, 2 & 3)

·         Advanced 16 PKP diploma units taken within 1-2 years 

 ·         Additional requirements

- Anatomy & Physiology 2 - the icpkp home study course, or other course recognized by icpkp;
