Morning kinesiology Level 1 course
General Information ·
The professional kinesiology PKP Level 1
course provides a solid foundation in the principles of the Professional
Kinesiology Practice. The graduate will receie an International Certificate in Professional Kinesiology Practice, issued by ICPKP. It consists of 4 parts: · Part 1 SPM 102 (Epigenetic Healing Cycles) - an introductory K-Power® unit. Part 1 may be attended before, during of after the other parts of the training. · Parts 2 & 3 consist of 12 units - the full BKP (Basic Kinesiology Principles) series (BKP101-110), and two more units: Clinical body contact (RBT 201) and Mastery of emotional stress release (EMS 201). All units will be taught in the classroom. The training includes theory, class & home practice, assessments, online tests & a final oral exam. · Part 4 (additional requirements) includes: Anatomy & Physiology-1 (a home-study unit, offered to students who haven't attended previously a similar professional course), First Aid (taken externally), case studies, mentored & supervision sessions. · Attending ALL classes, regular assessments, online tests, mentored and supervision sessions are all essential parts for the successful student's preparation.
Certification & opportunities for further study An International Certificate in Professional Kinesiology Practice issued by ICPKP will be received upon completion of PKP Level 1. The graduate can apply to be a member of the SA kinesiology association PKPASA and can be listed as a kinesiology practitioner Level 1 and can practice kinesiology under according to the guidelines of PKPASA. Upon completion of PKP level 1 & a minimum of 6 units of their choice from PKP Level 2, the graduate can be listed as a kinesiology practitioner Level 2 and can practice as a fully qualified kinesiologist. An International Diploma in
Professional Kinesiology Practice issued by ICPKP will be received upon completion of the full program of PKP Level 2. The graduate can be listed as a kinesiology practitioner Level 3 . confirmation of a deposit or the full fee must accompany the signed enrollment
forms in order for registration to take place. The maximum number of students for this program is 12. First come, first serve. Payment options for Part 1 - EHC, Introduction to K-Power® 1/ Regular fee
R1500 - fee for the first attendance, payable on enrolment. R1500 - fee for the second attendance, payable before the attendance of the class. The total fee for EHC is R3000. 2/ Discounted fee R2500 - when paid on enrolment for both, the first attendance & second attendance before the beginning of the course. The total discounted fee for EHC is R2500.
Payment options for parts 2 & 3 - PKP 1/ Regular discounted payment plan with 3 instalments. R9000 is payable before the first class begins R9000 is payable in before the beginning of the unit BKP105. R9000 is payable in before the beginning of unit BKP108 The total
discounted fee for PKP is R27 000. 2/ Full discounted payment plan: when paid on enrolment and before the beginning of the course. The total discounted fee for PKP is R25 500. 3/ Pay-per-unit payment plan: a fee of R2500 per unit is payable before the first day of the unit. R2500 x 12 = R30 000. The total non-discounted fee for PKP is R30 000. Fees for part 4 - the additional requirements Some students will need to complete only part of the additional requirements (Part 4). Additional Information · The student is required to attend all classes and practice sessions; study and practice at home, complete an assessment journal and pass an online exam for each unit. · Upon receiving their ICPKP certification, the graduate is advised to contact the local kinesiology association and enquire the latest requirements for membership and guidelines for their professional practice.
About your teacher Lazarina van Oostveen has over 25 years of experience in the field of holistic therapies. She has an International Diploma in Kinesiology (ICPKP) and she is a faculty member of ICPKP (International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice). Lazarina is the principal of JKCHH (Johannesburg Kinesiology College of Holistic Healing) and she is a registered member of ASKSA (Association of Specialised Kinesiology of South Africa) and PKPASA (Professional Kinesiology Practice Association of South Africa). |
