SSC - 50 hours Supervised Student Clinic experience
CPS - 75 hours Clinical Practice Client Sessions (mentored) and 2 case studies
PKS - 5 Personal kinesiology sessions with a professional ICPKP kinesiologist - off campus
First Aid Level 1 - off campus

The ICPKP® Level 1 kinesiology course provides a solid foundation in the principles of the Professional Kinesiology Practice™.
The classes are organized in 4 parts. Attending all classes, regular assessments, online tests, case studies, mentored and supervision sessions are all essential requirements for the successful student's preparation and certification.
Additional requirements include personal kinesiology sessions, a basic first aid course and off campus preparation. Some students may have already completed some of these requirements before enrolling for this course. Discuss possible exemptions with your teacher.
Certification and further study
Upon completion of all 4 parts and the final oral exam the student will receive an International PKP™ Practitioner Certification - Kinesiopractic® level 1, issued by ICPKP - International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice, NZ. The graduate will be offered to register as a member of PKPASA (Professional Kinesiology Practice Association of South Africa) and may start practicing as a level 1 practitioner. The graduate can continue their education with the ICPKP® Level 2 course to obtain an International Diploma in Professional Kinesiology Practice™.

Lazarina van Oostveen (Laika) has over 15 years of experience as a professional kinesiologist and teacher. She is a faculty member of ICPKP® (International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice) and a registered member of ASKSA (Association of Specialised Kinesiology of South Africa) and PKPASA (Professional Kinesiology Practice Association of South Africa).

Payment options
1. Regular fees when paid per unit before each unit begins.
R2500 for each of the 12 units BKP 101-110, RBT201 & EMS201. R2500 x 12 = R30,000
Payable before each unit begins or on monthly installments
R1700 for each of the 3 units SPM 101-103. R1700 x 3 = R5,100
R3,100 for A&P-1 (Anatomy & Physiology home-study unit).
The fees are payable either before each unit begins, or in 10 or 12 monthly installments, depending on the chosen course. Please refer to the Level 1 price list for the individual fee of each unit.

Additional info: Students who have an Anatomy & Physiology certificate from previous learning may apply for RPL.
Some of the additional requirements (First aid, private sessions, etc) and not offered at the college and need to be taken off campus. Kindly inquire with your teacher the estimated costs for them.
Important Note: The course fees shown above are offered to South African residents for ICPKP® Level 1 courses, that will be enrolling before February 2025.
If you are not a South African resident, kindly enquire about current course fees approved for international students.
